We are finally back! It has been 8 months since Nebulae Studios has interacted with the public in a meaningful way via social media. The pandemic really hindered public play testing events, which in turn affected the final stages of development for the three different titles we had open to the public. The team discussed how to move forward in an impactful way, but ultimately came to the conclusion that we didn’t need to distract from important issues the world had to navigate. We decided to take advantage of the down time and focus on world building, fleshing out storylines, this and revisiting game design. A few of the titles have been fine tuned with the intention of providing a cleaner player experience and will be introduced into public play testing, which brings us to the first bit of exciting news.
With vaccines rolling out and continued preventative measures encouraged, Nebulae Studios will soon hold public play testing events again! Our last event in February of 2020 was absolutely amazing. We were introduced to many new faces and received a ton of constructive feedback. We look forward to the opportunity to see new faces as well as the familiar and receive even more thoughts and suggestions in the near future!
One of the titles that was available for play testing has now been wrapped up and development is complete. As a whole, everyone at Nebulae Studios is extremely excited to be able to finally move forward with the Kickstarter for Brewing Shenanigans! The game feels extremely balanced and everyone who has play tested it has come out with a positive player experience. It is a beautiful game and we can’t wait to be able to share an official printed version with everyone. Our self printed prototype definitely does not do the art justice.
We have a lot of new content coming soon alongside the Kickstarter as well, like expansions for Colossus Clash as well as new table top titles all together. We are also working on a podcast that should be ready soon! Keep a look out for play testing events as well as updates on new content and our Kickstarter by staying tuned via our social media channels.
Our intention is to come back stronger than we were before the pandemic, and everyone here at Nebulae couldn’t be more excited to redirect our social media platforms towards you! We are so appreciative of all our followers and are beyond grateful for the patience you have held as soon as you noticed a lull in our feed. We aim to hear from and learn more about you as well as be consistent in sharing our studio’s journey so you can learn more about us.
